The Humber Bridge Soapbox Derby is an annual race for amateur teams. Enter handmade carts at the same time as raising money for charity, having fun and winning prizes! Your team can consist of individual groups, apprentices, schools, colleges, designers and people working in the renewable, maritime and transport sector.

They are particularly proud of the teams who have raised significant sums of money for our previous charity partners and actively promote creative and crazy designs for all carts as well as business entries complete with company logos.

The Childrens Ward Bogie Race is a fundraising campaign to support and provide the best possible facilities to improve the lives of seriously sick children from the north Lancashire area.

Any money raised at the bogie race event to help to dramatically improve the children stay at the children’s ward.

Penn House Grand Prix is back in 2016 on June 25th. The event includes classes for bikes, streamlined karts and roadster karts without bodywork.
